About Daegan Jacobs

Daegan Jacobs is a 17-year-old entrepreneur and student at Riverwood International Charter School in Sandy Springs. His journey began at just 8 years old, when he launched Shaggy Shakes on the patio of Souper Jenny, a beloved Atlanta community staple, raising $2,500 for the Zadie Project.

By 15, he expanded Shaggy Shakes into the Sandy Springs Farmers Market, turning a passion for healthy, fresh smoothies into a thriving operation. Now, at 17, he’s expanding into the Roswell market, continuing to grow his Saturday farmers market presence while also offering event services for private and corporate gatherings.

Through these experiences, Daegan has developed real-world skills in leadership, operations, and entrepreneurship, proving that ambition and creativity can start young — and scale fast
